Hospital

Annalise awoke in the morning with a fever. We took her to Children's Hospital of Central California. She was down to 9 lbs and was very dehydrated. They had to start her IV in her head. They ran a bunch of tests, like a lumbar puncture, urine catch, blood draw, x-rays, and RSV suction. She was good on everything except...RSV. So they admitted her to the hosptial to monitor her breathing.

Her breathing was actually really good. They would have sent us home on Christmas Eve, except for the fact that her reflux was flaring-up and she had lost so much weight. Because of the weight loss we were at the hospital until 12/26/08. We almost didn't make it out on the 26th. They wanted a stool sample, and she wasn't producing. About 30 min before the time limit she produced almost enough, but they let us go anyway.
She was so dehydrated when we went to the ER the only place they could put an IV was on her head.

Here you can see her "Rudolph" toe.

A picture of all the gifts Santa brought us in the hospital.

They wanted to do a sweat test for cystic fibrosis, but we know Luna isn't a carrier do to some genetic testing that was completed during Eli's pregnancy.
